WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

Mostly we have groups who book to come and see us, generally they arrive about half an hour before the show.

We do not open the gates until 10am for a 10.30 show.

On arrival visitors are offered a cup of tea or coffee, this is a help yourself thing, (we do not provide food, at this time, however you are more than welcome to bring your own) relax by our beautiful dam, and watch our Turkeys Chickens and ducks and geese.

While we prepare our parrots for show.

Some of our parrots will come down to meet and greet you, looking for cuddles and kisses in exchange for photos.

As soon as our performers are ready we invite you up to enjoy the show. Our show is in two parts, first part is a presentation of our Australian parrots from our little Bush Budgie up to our Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, that takes about 25 minutes.

Then our Alexandrines jump into action performing all sorts of tricks. This also takes approx' another 25 minutes.

After visitors are invited up to meet the performers and see the other birds in the aviaries, we are a breeding establishment as well so there is plenty to see.
Check out our shop that has been established in order to help fund the rescue and surrendered birds that are handed in.

The whole visit will take to around lunchtime.
Some groups like to bring a picnic to our park by the dam.

OR We can arrange for a platter (or more) of sandwiches and
a platter of seasonal fruit to be brought in,
if your group is looking to save pennies.
Sandwiches $7 per head $8 with fruit platter. Tea or coffee an extra $1
Now where in Oz can you still get a coffee for only a dollar?

Others like to go to one of our local lunch places.

While we mainly cater for group bookings, families, couples and individuals are very welcome to join an existing group.

Cost at this time is:

15 to 20 people $20 a head (under 4 years old free)

20 or more $15.00 a head

Maximum is 70 people (more than 70 we split your group and do two shows)

It is easy to see why the small groups welcome extras like families to join in, as they help lower the cost for all.

These prices cover the show, tea or coffee and use of our park for a picnic lunch. Also as many photos you wish to take.

Something different, Christmas in July, any special occasion ! Parrots In Paradise has been the venue for Weddings, shared with the parrots, was just so beautiful.
